Industry Partners Network + Careers in Tech Exploration for Students Event

  • University of Oregon, Redwood Auditorium, Erb Memorial Union 1395 University Street Eugene, OR, 97403 United States (map)

The University of Oregon has launched an industry partners network of regional companies and agencies that offer cybersecurity services or products or have a major cybersecurity team and are interested in hosting cybersecurity students as interns or academic co-ops.

Those who have joined the Industry Partners Network (IPN) are invited to participate in an opportunity to directly interact with cybersecurity, computer science, and data science students to recruit for full-time roles or internship positions.

There will also be an information session for all participating organizations from 2:00–3:00 p.m., immediately before the main event. This session will share updates about partnership opportunities with our programs, including details about our co-op program, which offers organizations the opportunity to hire students from the newly launched MS in Cybersecurity program.

All college students interested in careers in tech (from any university!) are invited to attend from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Over 10 companies in cybersecurity and other related areas will be looking to connect with college students interested in working in tech.  Representatives from these companies will be sharing full-time and internship positions, career advice, and feedback for students on their resumes.  No registration required!  Located in EMU 214 (Redwood) at UO.

Light refreshments will be served and parking will be provided for registered company reps.
